Russian Grand Prix

After a 98 year absence, Formula One returned to Russia in 2014. The track in Sochi will once again play host to the Russian Grand Prix, which will be the fourth stop on the 2017 calendar. 2016 Championship winner, Nico Rosberg, achieved the first Grand Slam of his career at the 2016 race, after securing pole position, winning the race, setting the fastest lap and leading every lap. This was his seventh consecutive Grand Prix win as he opened up a 43-point lead over Lewis Hamilton, who finished the race in second, with Kimi Räikkönen in third.
